Game crash (hang) during the single player missions in RA1

Greetings to all of you here 

 

I have a problem while playing Red Alert 1. The game just hang suddenly while ongoing.

 

I playing the single player missions. It's crash suddenly and while I alt+tab, it seems can get out to desktop but it is not in normal condition.

 

I have to restart the whole PC and now dare not to open it again.

 

Can anyone here can explain and guide me to get the problem solved?

where did you download the game? i have that problem too without cnc-ddraw, make sure its enabled

Not really remember, I think have to check back again.

 

So now your game (missions) can run smoothly until the end?

yes, everything works fine with cnc-ddraw But if you downloaded the game from any of our sites here then cnc-ddraw should be enabled by default and its probably another problem you have, i dunno

 

the original game didnt had this file, its a custom file made by hifi
