RA1 crash

I've downloaded the Portable RA frome the site, the game worked very well untill I tried to make my own mod (only changed the rules.ini & aftrmath.ini). The game crashes after a couple minutes playing (mostly after I play the soviets). It also says "An illegal instruction was executed at address 005e65dc". Crash file attached.

Changed some units, structures and weapons in the ini files (can attach them if it will help). I don't know what could go wrong with that.

I'll look at that address 005e65dc in the exe when I get home, see if I can find some clues.
