installer Issues

I had a quick look through this forum but have not found anything that seems to be similar to my problem.

 

And my problem is that every time I try both the standard and beta installers, I keep getting time out errors or connection errors.

I know it is not my Internet connection because my Internet speed is still quite good.

Where it seems to be acting up the most is when it is trying to download the movies in the normal version and the extra's (and movies) section for the beta version

 

 

Does anyone else have this problem?

And more importantly how can this problem be fixed?

This problem might be related to the downloading plugin used in the installer, older plugins did always abort. The new installer is using a better plugin that doesnt abort, but it has yet another problem which is causing the installer to fail after a runtime of 50mins. How long does your download take?

Workaround:

Use the beta installer and do not tick the install movie option

After the installation is done, get the movies files from here: http://tore29.com/tsins/movies.exe

Put the file into your game folder and run it to extract the movies

Well the installer would start normally and then not even 30 minutes later it'd say timed out error when I check on it, and that is with everything ticked.

OK, and does the extras file from the same website "http://tore29.com/tsins/extras.exe" if there is such a file work as well?
