MindWorker Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 HI! I have instaled RA@ and Yuri's Revenge from Origin and cannot launch the gme because of this error "***FATAL*** STRING MANAGER failed to initilaized properly" . Can anyoane help me? Thanks!

Not sure if I'm right on this one, I can never remember without looking, but try deleting RA2MD.ini That won't help The error is related to the lack of admin rights, the game failed to register the blowfish.dll and now it cannot read the .mix files. The installer will add the needed registry key to get the blowfish.dll working

FunkyFr3sh Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 What windows do you have? Do you have a nvidia graphics card? Check if there is a file named ddraw.dll inside of your red alert 2 folder

Check if there is a file named ddraw.dll inside of your red alert 2 folder Windows 7, 64 bit operating system and nvidia graphics and i don't have that file in the game folder.
FunkyFr3sh Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Try to install different versions of the nvidia driver, a lot people had this problem before, i'm not sure if they have fixed in their latest versions so you might need to try some older ones too Edit: try version 337.88
