Never_Enough
I have downloaded a few custom missions from RA afraid and just wondered if someone could post a tutorial on how to play them. I used to install them as scenario files back about 17 years ago when I just had the ra cd's but its different now I use cncnet. Thanks
FunkyFr3sh
Usually you only have to copy the files into your game folder and they will replace the original missions. Make sure you have the full game installed, the mini multiplayer versions don't support missions: https://forums.cncnet.org/index.php?topic=1918.0 Some missions might include mods, in that case you have to use the .exe file included with the mission. If there is no .exe file included then use the ra95_Mod-Launcher.exe in your game folder. (this one doesn't have high res support or any other improvements, it was meant to be 100% compatible to old mods) You can also convert missions to the new format, this way missions will be showing up in the "custom missions" menu rather than replacing existing missions. https://forums.cncnet.org/index.php?topic=2889.
Acnologias
Hello Guys, Here is a video based on Mental Omega To find out how to change the INI and BattleClient parameters and use your own custom mission created by you, Works for all game Cnc Reloaded and all, it is not very long and easy to understand visually: (1) open the editor and create a Singleplayer Map. (2) Save the map in the game directory and not in the Custom Map file. (3) Go to the .INI file and open BattleClient settings. (4) Find the Battles paragraph, then find the Special Operations section and modify the name as desired. (5) Then find the descriptive paragraph related to the mission that you have modified and repositioned everything to correspond to your mission. (6) Launch the Mental Omega launcher and go to the campaign option and go down to the Special Operation section and launch your mission. (7) There you go!
