Getting a weird error when trying to start CNCGold, involving long strings of zeros and something about a memory access violation. When the error pops up, my PC gets locked down, and I can'tdo anything but restart the system. I've tried various compatibility workarounds, but to no avail. Any ideas? FunkyFr3sh Posted December 2, 2017 Share Posted December 2, 2017 are you trying to play the campaign or multiplayer? If campaign, rename your C&C95.exe to C&C95_123.exe and try to start it like this. Don't enable any compat modes Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
