Luke10
Hi everyone, some days ago i watched some videos of the game, and it gave me a lot of nostalgia of the good old days. I wanted to play it again so i found my old RA2 cd. When i put the cd in, first screen loads with warning militry software detected etc etc, i click install but nothing happens. Nothing of the methods i found on google or here work. Any suggestions? I run windows 7 x64.

If I remember right, the problem you reported initially is caused by missing SafeDisc and should be fixed by step 1 If you are not using Windows XP, make sure you have re-enabled the SafeDisc driver by these guidelines.
Luke10
I managed to find the update by another way and successfully installed the game. I have just two more questions and i won't abuse more your kindness: - there's a way to set the resolution higher than a tiny square ( i guess is set 640x480) -after installing the online client provided by this community, i will be able to play or i need to patch something to a newer version? FunkyFr3sh
You can change your resolution via the settings files, example files are here: RA2: http://downloads.cncnet.org/Games/RedAlert2/RA2.INI YR: http://downloads.cncnet.org/Games/RedAlert2/RA2MD.INI To play online you'll need to download the client, for the campaign you don't need it
