Need Help with C&C1 - Scrolling

Hello all,

First of all, I can't believe that I might be able to play my favorite game of all time once again!!! I am so psyched to see so many people playing still. 

Ok but I do have a problem. I have been reading up on problems other people were having and past answers helped me. I got the correct version downloaded. Both the sound and my mouse works, so I'm close. The only problem is that it doesn't appear to be scrolling when I play the first mission. I can't move the map in any other direction. I saw one post saying that the compatibility settings all need to be disabled. I THINK I did that right, but not sure. 

 

Can anyone help me troubleshoot this?

Hi,

The first few maps in C&C1 are very small, infact they are smaller than most common resolutions these days. If you have changed resolution from the default 640x400 to your monitors resolution it is likely that you are seeing the entire map at once and thus you are unable to scroll anywhere.
