so right now anyone cna make anyones name. will that effect the ladder? like if i was to login under another persons name would those stats count?

imo the top player atm by a good margin is ollie, carnage.

in ton2 days alting a plane was never considered a cheat..however it was frowned upon.... in the coding it says 1) MoveToShroud=no meaning subs and planes arent intended to be able to fly directly into shroud. i consider it cheating, tbh.

of course should ban cheaters and such that are proven. anyways, lets get rid of the nick name storing on cncnet so i can smurf ffs :ranting: :ranting: :ranting:

Is the ladder right now broken points wise? As I was afraid of, looking at it, most of the not so great players seem to be getting rewarded merely for playing more games, and not winning, or winning vs anyone decent. And it will show mass losses for people that didnt lose at all. That merely died in a 2v2, or whatever. And I dont see a lot of games showing up.

iwont hold back imo . participation points to me just makes no sense. is the ladder right now a representation of participation points? or are the points broken? i hope they are broken because the ladder makes no sense to me atm. i dont know if its to boost activity, or help new players but i feel like this game used to be super competitive, now we are just holding noobs hands to further them along. which in the end just hinders skill. we all got kicked/banned/ had to work our way up the ladder. in the old days. not handouts. i appreciate all of the work thats gone into this server as far as anticheats, and the new spec options etc. but to me the best part about ts was always the 1v1 ladder and clan ladders. that even xwis had. all be it poorly updating the hall of fame.

lol? r u kidding? no you get rewarded for being the better player and winning games. not losing and or participating in more matches. as ray just said to me "participation points? lmao back in the day we had to earn our pts"

say player A ) plays and wins a lot of games, vs above average players . lets say 10 games player B) loses most games but plays in 50 games, and gets participation points, more pts than player A. player B wins ladder... ? i made topic i think youll find most people disagree

CNCNET staff wants to add points for just participating in games to the ladder. Not even if you win. To me this is one of the stupidest ideas ever for a competitive ladder. Thoughts guys?

You have instantly turned off many players by adding points for "participation" that is really a dumb idea for a competitive ladder. Make a poll I assure you it will be overwhelmingly bad for you. Thats like handing out participation points for pro sports etc.

you get points for participating in a game? lol? the ladder should only be for 1v1, or clans for clan ladder on a separate page. participation points? you just ruined the ladder for me.
