I always found that 2x Virus was the way to go. Especially for every deso they purchase you should be able to buy a virus to counter. There is a bit of execution/skill and luck of course in killing them though. Lag works in the Virus' favour too. I think SvY on Dune has been overplayed and in general, harassment from Soviet players got better over the years.

No such thing since 2003. XWIS has some support from the German EA community team though. You don't need to play on XWIS to choose the resolution you want. Otherwise have fun on XWIS if thats your preferred place to play. 2003? That's a bit off I've been playing both cncnet and xwis for a while now, both have their obvious advantages. Would be cool if all the pros were merged obviously. Pipedream.
