RA 2 download link

Hi,

I just want to pint a problem on cnc network website on the link: https://cncnet.org/red-alert-2

 

Download link is for Yuri's revenge, but it suppose to be  link for Red Alert 2. 

On https://cncnet.org/yuris-revenge is also YR link.

 

Could someone correct that or provide download link for RA 2.

There is no true RA2 online play on CnCNet; the RA2 they offer is basically an alternate rules set built on the Yuri's Revenge engine.

From what I heard, this was done because RA2 contains quite some multiplayer issues that are fixed in YR, but which were never backported to the original RA2 engine.

Nyer the Dune 2000 download link doesn't work, not for me anyway but all the other game downloads do so maybe its an issue your side of things .

 

Also in the lobby I can no longer separate names into games or friends.

I'm not part of the CnCNet management. I'm just a forum moderator.

The issue seems to be related to Chrome systematically removing support for non-https links. I've alerted the team, but for now, this link should work:

https://downloads.cncnet.org/cncnet5.exe

Note that that link is not a "game download"; like Red Alert 2, Dune 2000 is not freeware.
