yuri revenge unable to select video mode

so i have a disc copy of cnc the first decade which i've been using to beat the older cnc games; on my windows 11 pc. i've beat the original red alert 2 but yuri's revenge wont load i get an error screen that says unable to set video mode. anyone know how to fix this so i can play the campaign as that what im only really interested in playing.

Have you install the CnCNet Client?

If not, do it right now and if the problem persists, open your Ra2/YR folder and set the compatibility modes for ra2md.exe and game.exe to Windows XP Service Pack 3.

This should work.

ya i had the cncnet client installed already. i set the combatibillity mode to xps3 and now it just says insert the correct cd, even though it is in there.

I know exactly what you mean.

Just try extracting ra2md.exe and game.exe from this .rar directly to your game folder, and set the compatibility mode to WinXP3 SP2 again.

Tell me if it worked.

damn, these .exe files are supposed to non-cd patch Yuri's Revenge from TFD, sorry to hear.
