i tried launching cncnet all it does it keep checking for updates and restarting 3...2..1....checking for updates etc

alright now i try launching cncnet from my game folder and it says cncnet server is down... according to cncnet.org 6 players are online. what gives?

 

i made my ip static and also tried port 8054, no dice.

Could you post a screenshot of your CnCNet settings?

 

Do not change the port in CnCNet settings (9001) that will prevent CnCNet from connecting to the server.

If CnCNet keeps connecting then you have set CnCNet to launch itself over and over. Set the executable in CnCNet settings to Game.exe.

hmmm said 3 ppl were online , my buddy and i logged in but saw no games no one in lobby.

I think that may be due to FunkyFresh experimenting with a bot that reads all messages in the channel and mirrors them on the IRC chat...
