tiberian sun doesn't work on my windows 8

Hejj i just installed tiberian sun & firestorm on my laptop and i can come inside the game menu but i can not start a game because it will just pause and will not continue ...did anyone had this problem before or  does anyone  know the answer for my problem??

i got it working with a graphics patch but now it seems to run too fast in gameplay ...

Then go in to the options and make it slower.
