the first decade patch

Hi guys. im not even sure this is the right forum to put this, but you might still be able to help me.

 

i have got the first decade and put the 1.03 patch on to the game, and now when i try to play online on zero hour it keeps telling me that the versions are different (they must be on 1.02)

 

How can i play with other online on this, or roll back to 1.02?

That's odd. Since you have the First Decade your version of Zero Hour is 1.04 and you cannot revert to an older version. (Game versions are separate from the version of TFD.)

 

Where are you trying to play Zero Hour online? Since most players on Generals online use the 1.04 version of Generals.

Run generals in Administrator mode.

 

These version problems are NOT caused by patching and such. You simply have to run the game in Administrator mode.

ok i have got it working with everyone, but now it wont let me play with my mate. any ideas?

Your mate may need to do the same thing if he/she has the first decade.

worked a treat cheers. It was because he hadn't clicked run as admin yet i had. Thanks for the help
