Command & Conquer (Tiberian Dawn) Windows 8

Hi , I currently have a windows 8 computer and would like to know how I can get Tiberian Down to work on it. I download it and the player but it say my windows version is incapacitate with using it.

C&C is 16-bit application so 64-bit OS is unable to operate on such simple application. The linked file enables to install Red Alert, but on C&C it should work too... but i'm not sure.
