Precision MT
Hi, I was playing with a buddy tonight online and the ingame sidebar flickered and then disappeared after playing for about 45 minutes. I'm running 1920x1080 resolution. I really don't want to turn it back down, I like being able to see the map and have a longer build menu. Has anyone else had this happen? Any fixes you know of? Thank you, Phil
Allen262
I don't know of any fix. You can try hitting Tab on the keyboard. This will hide the sidebar and hit Tab again to un-hide the sidebar. This may let the game reload it the right way. If that dosen't work try messing with some of the video settings in the options.
Precision MT
Allen, Thanks for the advise, I will try this and see if it does the trick. Thank you, Phil
Nyerguds
1920x1080? Can you, em, actually still distinguish your units at that resolution? [edit] Oh right, sorry. I forgot this was RA1. People don't build anything besides Heavy Tanks anyway
Precision MT
My buddies can't, but I have no problem. I just glue my face to the screen.
Jacko
I play TD in 1920x1080 its perfectly possible The extra vision is insanely useful and basically negates the need to have a communications centre
Nyerguds
I play TD in 1920x1080 its perfectly possible Sure. It's wider than ALL game maps, though
pichorra
wouldn't it crash the game if you build a comm. center?
Nyerguds
I fixed that bug, Pichorra. In fact, having that fixed was one of my own set conditions to be met before I would implement free resolution control (The second was the ability to correctly load savegames of different resolutions. Which I also fixed.)
