Cannot connect to game lobby

Hello. I successfully downloaded and installed Tiberian Sun, but cannot connect to the game lobby. Skirmish mode loads without a problem. Here is what I am seeing:

 

 

I reinstalled CnCNET5.exe and placed it in game folder to make sure file was good. I also made sure windows firewall and avast wasn't blocking it, and internet connection is good. Any ideas?

strange, it connects to the server but drops right away... don't think it is the firewall

 

do you have ipv6?

Has anybody found an answer to this question? The same exact thing is happening to my friend.  He has disabled his antivires but each time it downloads it still kills the download, then he restores the file but what the first post describes is happening. anybody?

If he has to restore the file then it is not turned off and probably still blocking it, you should try to turn it off
