Help!

Hey guys, used to play TS back in the day - just found CNCnet today!

 

Anyways, I'm running windows 7 as a VM on my macbook pro, where I've installed TS.  The problem is, when i go to online play it just hangs at "connecting..." in the lobby, and just hangs.....

 

I've turned off windows firewall, reinstalled, checked all my other connections from this VM, but still can't get it to go.  Right now I'm downloading the wineskin version to see if the problem is in my VM or my network at large, but does anyone have any tips? I don't see any settings to mess with.

Give the wineskin version a try and report back

 

The wineskin version connects to the lobby, but the game crashes consistently to the point that its unplayable.  The windows version seems much more stable through VMware. :/
