Pooflinger630 Posted February 13, 2016 Share Posted February 13, 2016 So, I am trying to test out my multiplayer map, but I can't seem to figure out how to test it (I need to test it because I am adding some flare to the map. Before you ask, yes, I saved it correctly and all of the files are in the directory. I tried looking for this thread in the forums, but I couldn't find it...then again I was only glancing. Thanks! Nyerguds Posted February 14, 2016 Share Posted February 14, 2016 Just name it "SCM##EA(.bin/.ini)" (with ## a number) and test it through the game's network mode. Check the cc95v106c_r3_en.rtf file in the game folder on how to play a map in Sandbox mode. That said, I have no idea if flares even work in multiplayer. MattAttack Posted February 14, 2016 Share Posted February 14, 2016 Either way, test all triggers in a live lan/cncnet game. I once gave a player airstrikes for capturing a structure in MP. It worked fine in sandbox mode but when I went into a live game it caused OOS errors. I'm skeptical for flares to work in MP, but it would be rad if it did! P.S. Plying the game on cncnet requires a different method than Nyer mentioned. You can name it anything as long as you have both the .bin and .ini in maps/custom/ of your cnc folder.
