Identical nicks don't work on the system we use. He probably replaced the L in the name by a capital i to pull this off.

Maybe the games and clients should use a different font so there is Iess confuslon and lmpersonatlon happenlng. I know it's the least of cncnet's worries, but would it take long to change it, globally?
