Stream button annoys me.

What is that button? This wildly annoying. I'm not interested in somebody's game. Make please an opportunity to remove the button or blinking animation.

There is no direct way to disable it, but you can open cncnet5.ini in your game folder, then add the following line under the [settings] section

 

[settings]

LiveStreamChannelsURL=123

 

make sure cncnet is not running while you modify the settings file else it will override the changes on exit
