Ubuntu error

tj78

Question

Hi guys,

anyone having an idea how to solve this - running Ubuntu 16.04.

dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of cncnet:

cncnet depends on wine:i386 (>= 1); however:

  Package wine is not installed.

Version of wine on system, provided by wine1.6:i386, is <none>.

dpkg: error processing package cncnet (--configure):

dependency problems - leaving unconfigured

No apport report written because the error message indicates its a followup error from a previous failure.

                          Errors were encountered while processing:

cncnet

E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

Thanks for any ideas....

That's strange since I tested it all on Ubuntu 16.04. I used the 64bit version, you got the 32bit one?

Is there anything you were doing different than me? Here is the video I recorded installing it

Edit:

Oh I see, you actually tried to install it manually via the terminal?

I don't know how to solve that dpkg error, but you can just install the dependency manually and afterwards install the package.

sudo apt-get install wine:i386

sudo dpkg -i cncnet_1.0_all.deb
