Game severe lag

Hey Grant,

 

                I am having an issue with my game. Once I start a skirmish my game runs SUPER slow.....the 10,000 starting credits takes a whole 30sec to fill up at the start of the game and it takes me just as long to deploy my MCV. I'm not sure why its doing this. My computer has an i7 6700k with a GTX 1080..... not sure what would cause it to run at a snails pace

Sounds ridiculous, but did you check your game speed settings?

 

If everything is good there, try experimenting with your rendering settings. I personally have a GTX 960 OC, and TS-DDRAW works the best for me.

Go into Client Options -> Display -> Renderer: https://forums.cncnet.org/index.php?topic=4415.msg36349#msg36349

 

Pick a renderer (Maybe ts-ddraw), save, launch skirmish. It's a bit of trial and error until the gameplay is fast for you.
