Stuck

ive searched the forum and i didnt see anything close to my problem when i updated to 3.20 it loads the client but i get stuck at the black CNCNET screen it wont go any further than this but if i reinstall to an earlier version i can load it up but when i start a game it crashes.

it doesnt show an error but i actually finally got it to load it took like 30 minutes for it to load the first but it loads in less than 2 now.

Do you have a lot of maps?

if it's map scanning / thumbnail generation... show a progress bar for that, people. Sheesh.
