In the next update, probably tonight or early morning, when we're not so active you will be able to make games, and in doing an RA2 icon will show. See attached for an example.

Hello, Have you made sure your video drivers are updated to the latest?

It's a rare error, and doesn't happen to everyone. Until the fix is pushed into the main client, and distributed in Mental Omega's next update, there's nothing that can be done in the meantime.

Assuming you're not on Windows XP - please download http://grant.cnc-comm.com/tmp/clientdx.exe 1. Go to your game directory 2. Place this file and overwrite the existing into Resources/ 3. Run CnCNetYRLauncher.exe 4. Let it run through it's options, and re-upload client.log from Client/ folder. (If it prompts to update, don't press update). Let me know the results.

Tahj has stopped working on the ladder due to personal reasons. The ladder api will be ported over from node to php. If anyone is capable of "coding", it's open-source you can check it out on github and submit pull requests. (Probably worth popping into our public dev chat too to discuss things). Right now we're focussing on two other projects related to CnCNet which have been in progress for the last couple of months. After these two are done, we'll be looking at a ladder. Whether the ladder comes to anything is another story, lets hope it does. Obviously with more hands on deck to code, it brings things faste. Less hands, it's then determined by how much time we have spare at the weekend or weeknight after work. Dkeeton was looking at adding clans. I was looking at the port of the ladder api to php. That's two people.

Strange one, if it's not even creating a log. There are no .log files anywhere in your install directory? Do you have .NET 4 installed?

Hello, Regarding your game being slow, you should look at the renderer in your client options and set accordingly. See here -https://forums.cncnet.org/index.php?topic=4415.msg36349#msg36349 Custom maps are likely in a different game mode. Where your map list is, will be a Game Mode dropdown. Select that, choose a different game mode (Probably something like Standard) and the maps should appear.

Hello, CnCNet will have installed into your game directory. Run CnCNetYRLauncher.exe directly from your game directory (Not via the shortcut) and let us know what happens? You should see a Client folder within your game directory, inside there should be a client.log file. If that exists please upload.

Hello, Go into Client Options -> Display -> Renderer: https://forums.cncnet.org/index.php?topic=4415.msg36349#msg36349 Pick a renderer (Maybe ts-ddraw), save, launch skirmish. It's a bit of trial and error until the gameplay is fast for you.

What resolution is he running at? Check in client options under Display > Game Resolution.

I guess yes that my 1 1/2 years gaming computer with the old graphics has some problems. At least when I play against many and super weapons will be used laggig as well as the fast Zwitschen over the map. Pick a render within the client options, save, try a skirmish game until its not lagging.
