  1. Heh you played that one and won it nearly the same way as the one you did for the original game on your channel, right down to squishing the two remaining Nod soldiers to win it. Thats precision now! lol Seriously go back and watch your play through of the original mission to see what I mean. I watched that one and the other one back to back and noticed this!
  2. I'm assuming you applied the updated INI files? Before the mission proved impossible as the three artillery pieces by the bridge on the cliffside would massacre your forces as they crossed. All I was left with was the Mammoth Tank which alone wasn't enough against the Nod vehicle column. I had to edit the weapon settings and nerf the Artillery firing rate a bit to make this mission playable.
  3. I also updated the Westwood Logo intro sequence with the classic "EVA Install" sequence from the DOS/N64 versions. Just extract it to your Data/Movies folder. I wished I could get the sequence in better quality. Ripped that one from YouTube. lol

  5. Its all the updated files, did some general game code/script edits and included all of the edited and updated maps and campaign missions with my rewritten scripts and AI. It does contain the incomplete versions of GDI14 and GDI15 but they are not playable ATTM.

  7. Yeah EA needs to cut their crap with this. The latest update has indeed broke these as well. I am just glad I still have my retail disk copies safely stored away with a digital backup made for TFD.

  9. Looks good. I will be addressing the AI lag, it appears to be from the infantry and engineer rushes.
  10. Sounds good, you might or might not get to play GDI 14 soon as well. Stay tuned. GDI 15 will take some time. Gonna put some extra effort into it to make it special, haven't got the details nailed down as of yet.

  12. Okay, and yeah feel free to give the map a replay and maybe do a couple 1v1 skirmish matches too. Along with the other edited missions. EDIT: PM'd you. Once you clear your ZH folder out and then reinstall 1.4 and the v1.43 patch, I can then give you the dropbox link to the updated files for v1.44 as you will then need to grab all of those and overwrite what is installed. Make sure to save the movie files though. I will try to get GDI 14 finished up in the next week or so. Should be relatively easy to do since neither side has to worry about base building as its purely a search and destroy mission so I wont have to tailor up a decent AI for the map. lol
  13. Just saw your video, sadly I realized you got the unfinished version somehow. Reason I know its the unfinished version as the map is missing a lot of terrain details. Ugh I am losing my edge. This was also the completed version you were supposed to get with the AI enhancements I boasted about. EDIT: Also your art files are outdated. The Adv. Comm Center was changed in v1.42 with slight details added and texture corrections made. I noticed in the video you had the old version. Anyways, here was the proper map you were intended to receive at least:

  15. Good deal! You didn't get to use the Ion Cannon? I built my Adv. Comm Center and finished it in 15 without attacking the bases. General Sheppard is disappointed. Lol Oh and did you still get spammed by Raptors and Apaches? Part of the hotfix is I had to cut down on those attacks as they kept blowing up my Harvesters. Also engineers shouldn't be able to capture tanks or any armed vehicles now. Just Harvesters and MCV's.

  17. Well surprise! I think I got GDI 13 done finally. AI lag still occurs but its only for a couple seconds. It puts up a good fight to harass and keep you from amassing aircraft or your Adv. Comm Center. Files contain all the updated campaign mission maps and an updated INI.tdr file. It is extremely important that any loose .ini files are deleted and your mod is updated with the new INI.tdr file or unexpected things may happen. Copy and paste the extracted files to your game directory. Again You might have to do a test playthrough before you make the official record.   18. I will say it will have implemented some of the updated AI scripting used in the final Nod mission. Plus a few surprises that make it slightly different from the original and somewhat more challenging IF I can get all the bugs worked out. You might have to do a couple test runs like you did before on the aforementioned mission. As this project is nearing its end, after working on Generals for over a decade, I will never miss having to limit myself with developing mission maps to conform to the poorly designed AI scripting system and that laggy AI pathfinding which can make the mission unplayable, which is the main reason why I have not released this yet.
  19. I thought I'd post a screenshot to show that there is indeed progress. GDI Mission 13 should be finished soon. It is in the process of AI debugging and final detail work.
  20. Also to the admins, I noticed the TDR forum is not publicly visible again. Noticed this when I was logged out, initially thought it got deleted. Glad to see it was just because I was logged out.
  21. Hey sorry yeah I am still here, been slowly getting stuff together as real life has kinda gotten to me again. The final 3 GDI missions are laid out terrain wise, I just gotta script them and insert the details with the bases and terrain environments. At the minimum GDI 13 will be arriving sometime later this summer I can assure you. I also redone some scripting work with the existing missions based on your feedback and from watching some of the playthrough videos online.

  24. Hey I was away for a few days and noticed the forum has been updated. I also saw the "General Discussion" section for this mod with all the useful info including the thread with missions TaxOwlbear was posting are completely gone. Any ideas?
