As you can see this guy is keeping a fake game room open to advertise a website (doesnt work). I think something should be done about this. Not him but the ability to do this. Mainly cause its not a real game room and he needs to get a life lol. this was common practice on WOL to have auto message lobby spammers and people hosting game rooms when you join would spam a website to you.

bandicam to capture ts video. adobe premiere pro to edit and render the video. i have a tutorial on how to do what i do on youtube. its a little lengthy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ix46LSmvhjM id recommend downloading utorrent and then googling what thepiratebay is lol. There are other options out there but they perform poorly in comparison. for quickest rendering you can use a free program called "handbreak" I made a tutorial on it a long time ago but deleted it. you will most likely not know how to set proper rendering settings on that cause youre a newbchild. im sure you could download windows movie maker for windows 7 or whatever windows you use to edit video as well. i havent used that version of it.

xwis has a few players still as well but playing here is currently more populated and has a few perks like some anticheat protection etc. http://xwis.net/downloads/ has a 50mb tiberian sun multiplayer installer: http://xwis.net/downloads/Tiberian-Sun-Multiplayer.exe you can play there by creating a forum account and then using that same account info to login to their account manager for tiberian sun and make a free username sicne its freeware. itll ask for money but thats for a red alert serial theres a click me for ts players if you keep reading: http://xwis.net/forums/ http://xwis.net/ts/ Anyway, have fun playing here. You can almost always get a game going thanks to red alert 1 players migrating to tiberian sun occasionally and a lot of the xwis community coming here which used to be the main way to play ts. -
Do you remember what map it was? Did you rejoin the same room after that and did they mention anything about it?If it was a one time thing then anything is possible. im pretty sure a guy named floodlion or something similar to that has been making ts maps lately. if he edited the map while still having the game open its possible that he cause that to happen when he launched the game or he just made a bugged map or blah blah blah. if it happens again on any other mod map try removing admin rights on your windows os. if that dont work then idk lol

I was just thinking last night when i was playing tiberian sun if only tiberian sun had attack move all these enemy infantry wouldnt be passing by my infantry rush so easily... tibsun kind of actually does have attack move by putting your units on a waypoint and then telling them to follow the waypoint while on guard mode. that basically makes them behave like attack move. units also dont have threat ratings in tiberian sun attacking higher priority targets first like in starcraft 2. they did add a threat rating node in tiberian sun which was supposed to be a gdi structure to give this ability to the units and units do actually have a assigned threat rating but not a paper scissors rock countering rating just a higher threat rating than the various other units. anyway nice seeing some of these features in your openra project. i will try this release although i dont like red alert 1 since it doesnt offer the strategies i like. great work anyway. im personally amazed you are able to make such a project. this engine really deserves its own game and to be sold retail.

I took a second to make top left on Terrace map more fair. I added a little more tiberium and modified the cliffs so that you dont have to glitch build to get to expansion tiberium. When you play in top left on Terrace on normal version you run out of starting tiberium very fast and have to get the tiberium to your right which is pretty far away actually and strangles you of money. you then have to glitch build to try to get to your far away expansion tiberium. I think this little bit of extra tiberium and fix so you dont have to glitch build is a good idea cause whoever gets top left is at a big disadvantage. This isnt in the maps section because I think this map should replace the official Terrace map or a map of similar design if people don't like what I did to it. Thx. terrace.zip

so as we know over the past few months most of the XWIS players came here because CnCNet has great respectable staff and a great way to play the game over XWIS. Some of these players may eventually ask for the features that XWIS has like clan and ranking. Obviously these features are not really needed but some may claim it is out of boredom and whining after being here for a while. I predict some of this will happen as they eventually one by one register on the forums and abandon XWIS forums entirely and their little hamster wheels work up the motivation to dream. What can we expect for the future of TS here? I think it's more than fine the way it is though but I can see a storm brewing from one or two of them already who have lost status and rank by coming here. It'll take time though before they say anything.

this sounds like voodoo magic. prove to me the cursor animation for missile actually changes the trajectory of the cluster. those seem to go after nearby units and are not reliant on the fucking cursor animation lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dC02xb-gPv0 lul. i tried it twice didnt work second time. clusters went everywhere. i also didnt know you only need 3 banshees to kill a ref. thought it was 4 like war. and lol hijacking a blue tib enemy harv LOL. this is good stuff all should read.

in sensor array description maybe say it can also be used for scouting. its pretty fast and has a fair amount of health. it usually done on mod maps but ive done it rarely in ww maps lol. also your description of what a power bomb is for orca bomber is entirely wrong wtf mole? you do not need 5 bombers normally to kill a ref. you need 4. power bombing is not making all the bombers stack on top of each other but rather telling them to get close to the structure at the correct angle to do maximum damage but the main point of the power bomb is to have them drop more bomblets on the structure. you do this by telling them to go next to the structure and then attacking it. this makes it so you can kill a ref or war with just 3 bombers. quit being such a newb mole jesus christ lol.

Well after playing the game nonstop since it came out i still cant answer that really. You will pretty much never hear experienced players make comments about Nod being weaker than GDI. Nod engineer rushes can lock down a enemy player very efficiently until they get stronger by getting like 9 or 10 banshees built up. That combined with cluster missile is hugely deadly. A ton of artillery and sam sites along with planes and maybe some ticks and rocket infantry is hard to crack if the nod player has a strong economy going and map control. It can be easy though a lot of times for gdi to find weak points in Nod bases and it used to be rumored Nod was better on bigger maps and GDI is better on smaller maps but I've found that not to be very true. Both factions just get more time to recover and defend from attacks but theres no real clear advantage that Nod gains from the distance apart. GDI is definitely a much more brutal faction if you're really good they can find weak points in people's bases and exploit them to no end. But yeah GDI is usually the preferred faction to play as. Nod is just slow and needs more time to do massive damage. That's the main reason people play as GDI. For example doing engineer rushes can only take out one structure. A disruptor rush can do endless damage if the carryall isnt shot down and theres not enough defense to defend the enemy base. That's the main reason people choose GDI. Engi rushing isn't Nod's only strat but yeah they aren't as good when it comes to continuous potential damage. I think if devil's tongues had more armor and maybe a tiny bit more damage you'd see more Nod players. Tick tanks are a joke compared to titans. they die in one bomber pass unlike titans etc. A lot of Nod unitsare a joke. Stealth tank is a joke. Cyborg is a joke. attack bike is a joke most of the time compared to MLRs etc. I think if Nod was really that bad though people would complain if their allie was Nod but no one really ever does. Nobody says well we lost cause my allie was nod etc. Nod would be nothing without artillery and banshees. They rely on that way too much. Harpies are also actually pretty good. Devil's tongues have their place killing infantry rushes and sometimes doing good damage. tick tanks are sometimes pretty useful etc. They just honestly barely get by. /rant

These are some very old maps I made like in 2004 or something. I just updated them a little bit like deleted their isomappack5 to make them smaller and remove the black terrain. I also gave them all free radar and removed any mod units they had. The Tiberium is changed back to normal colors and does not spread to keep it within the tib train track barriers. I'm hoping these changes make players slightly more comfortable playing on them in multiplayer. Thorns: Very small map inspired by the Unreal Tournament map Thorns. Has a divider wall down the middle with three choke points. Core: Similar to Thorns but has a single choke point in the middle instead of three and then a two choke point divider behind that. Experimental: A map similar to BBG but without divider wall between allies and my own style of choke point. Interception: Top vs bottom map with a choke point in the middle. Map is shaped like a X. Elimination: A map inspired by BBG but slightly larger. Alpha Omega: The bastard child map of the map pack I made. It's like BBG yet again but inverted. Now the Tiberium fields are towards the middle of the map allowing players to kill enemy harvs easier. it really is sad how far ive fallen when it comes to youtube hardware i used to have. ive literally owned more than 2500 dollars worth of studio microphones and a 1000 dollar dslr camera. all those things are gone now and all i have is a 30 dollar webcam. anyway here is a nod tips and tricks lol. and yeah over the years of making youtube videos a lot of times you look at the view count of your videos and if you arent doing good it makes you want to stop making those types of videos because it feels like the only person who will like them is yourself and nobody will ever care to watch them. im no longer inspired by people to make videos when they say they like one or two of my videos though lol. i had a ton of supreme commander fans recently unsubscribe from my channel cause i stopped making supreme commander videos and started making mental videos. fuck them lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4oNQkr83Zu0
