Seems if goes out of sync once, it will be like that for the entire set of recordings I make, until I reboot the computer? So it probably gets triggered by something I do or is connected to some program that is running at the same time. I dont know.

We have to differentiate between singleplayer, normal multiplayer and modded multiplayer maps. Because it seems like you guys are either talking about the singleplayer which has its own very different rules or the multiplayer on mod maps, which is basically a spamfest with infinite money like what TD/RA players are used to. But most of us are actually playing multiplayer on the original westwood maps with limited cash, where not only spamable units are useful. Btw. I am pretty sure sams actually DO splash damage if the air units are stacked onto each other.

OBS had 1000kbit/s bitrate as default and because I have no idea about anything of this, I thought it didnt matter. I have it on 3500kbit/s now.

now that the quality of the videos is fine, i wanna focus on the actual games. so from now on i will reduce the spectated games to only the really great ones, but i will upload more of myself playing. even the shorter games, when i wanna show how a BO works (or doesnt work...) for example. for that i have made 2 playlists: spectator: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLeYx3cu8N-GjOFCeUW3GFUDqRVijlxiAZ pov: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLeYx3cu8N-GinO83Vn5nm9Sa_P7YwsrT0 every time there is an update, the new video will be put on top of the playlist, so that i dont have to put the link of each video in the first post. i will however make a post to talk a little bit about the games. maybe some day i will even be confident enough to commentate. update today: added 3 games from TL. for some reason i've gotten into the habit of making lots of infs and then going 3 refs when i should have made at least 4, so that i end up broke. i guess i should stop playing on autopilot and start using my brain. in the game vs nate/powerush i could have just bombed TRs emp earlier and went for KO with superior titan army + bombs + mk.

Well first of all, you dont want (and cant, really) build there, which leaves your harvesters open for CC/MK harassment. Also its almost impossible for the enemy to harvest that tib, so there is no reason to prioritize it over the contested tib in the middle. As you can basically secure both fields just by being in mid first. That being said, I dont see a reason not to send one or two harvs there to get the blue stuff, once your main tib is gone.

That wouldnt be possible. You would have to to make a separate tree for size of the map, terrain, how far you are into the game, defense/offense etc. I have seen the Nod buggy being used to scout by quite a lot of Nod players actually. So apart from the Cyborg and Wolverine every unit in this game has its use in certain situations. That doesnt mean that we run around with our armies composed of every unit in the game though. TS doesnt work like that. It's not a game of armies, it's a game of buildings. You don't try to counter the other guys units and meet up in the middle to fight until one army remains. This only happens in the first 5minutes with infantries.

added update 3. quality should be good now, the video files are getting huge now though that vid was mostly uploaded to test the quality, i am really not happy with how i played. broke early game, broke midgame, broke lategame... never made emp, lost MK to emp and pretty late into the game lost my exp to GS lol. it was a good game overall though, with the worst possible ending, i am sorry for that.

The raw file has the same problems. My PC is not that great, so i cant just put everything on highest quality and hope it looks good, because my CPU is not good enough. but it looks like i have found a solution that seems to work pretty good. the max bitrate was on 1000 kbit/s (default). i'll record the next games on 720p/60fps with bitrate set to 3500 kbit/s and see how it looks.

i added another couple of videos to test some different settings. recorded on 1080p/60fps, still doesnt seem to fix the scrolling issue. maybe i will start using the minimap more to move the camera around. i will also take a look at other recording tools etc.

When was the game updated? I recently had my game lag as well in bigger games, although I didnt change anything. Turning off graphics patch helped for me.

If there is like 5 or more people in the game I am lagging terribly. It used to work a couple of months ago and it works on my Laptop with a different connection. Both Win7, no wifi. I tried playing around with the grapic settings but nothing seems to work. 2 player games and skirmish are also lag free.

this happens btw if the barracks has a waypoint, the first JJ comes out, and everything after that gets blocked. would also be cool if you can completely delete the waypoint of buildings with the stop hotkey or something Another one: If the Mammoth Mk2 is leaving the service station with an attack command (for example if hes being put on there by a carryall), he instantly explodes. Part of the carryall glitch: Does not only happen when the enemy sends air units under it. Sometimes when you have 2 carryalls that land side by side, they do not unload, they just land with the unit below them. Same thing can happen on service stations. EMP glitch: If you unpower your EMP, it gets killed and you build a new one, the new one is instantly ready again. Something which might not be a glitch but its really annoying: If an air unit is flying by an anti air unit, like rocket men or hover MLRS, they will just chase that unit forever. This doesnt happen with ground units, although they also get stuck in the attack command, but they dont actually move.

Hey, as it looks like the community on this server is growing, so I thought about whether or not it is possible that we can get some bug fixes going. Would be really cool, as there are some really annoying bugs here and there and they are probably not too hard to fix. But before we make a list would be good to know if people even want that.

Lol, thank you, that worked. But now i'm curious, how can that be a problem? My connection is actually really good, and I never had problems using wifi.

Hey, im trying to play Tiberian Sun, which works fine offline, but it seems that i can't connect to the lobby. I dont see any games and I cant send any messages. When I try to open a game, I cannot change the settings or start the game. Tried opening ports, changing the port, disabling firewalls, disabling anti-virus and stuff. Nothing works. On my other computer with another connection it works fine. Win7 on both systems. EDIT: So it looks like I actually connect for a very short time, so that I can see the chat for a couple of seconds, but I get disconnected right after and it takes the client more than 10 minutes to realize. Then I get reconnected for just a short time again.

Do you guys think its possible to get 8 player Forest Fires games going? I recently started playing again but the only games i seem to get are 1v1s or at max a 6 player conflict match. As thankful as i am to be able to still play this game, 8 player FF games were always the most fun. Are there more players on the other server? Am i just in the wrong timezone? Or is all hope lost?
