Fast Connection

Hi Guys,

 

i can´t find a thread like this, so i started it new. I opened the port for p2p-Connection (via a youtube-recommandment), but c&c still says that i only can play with a slow connection. ("Your UDP Port 8054 seems to be closed. Fast P2P is not possible...") So, what do i do wrong or what is still missing ? How can i enable the p2p-fast-connection ?  O_o

Sorry, i am a complete idiot in such things (which could explain why i dont get it on the run ). From where exactly do you need a shot ?

the configuration web interface of your router, on the page where your port forwards are configured.

I get the same issue myself, connecting over a 3G dongle.  Even when Windows XP insists the ports are opened up, cncnet insists that they're not.

you cannot open ports with 3g. You will need DSL/Cable to be able to play fast peer-to-peer games

umm, isn't 3G direct routerless connection to the internet anyway? You shouldn't NEED port forwards on that...
