Vellern Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 Hi Guys, i can´t find a thread like this, so i started it new. I opened the port for p2p-Connection (via a youtube-recommandment), but c&c still says that i only can play with a slow connection. ("Your UDP Port 8054 seems to be closed. Fast P2P is not possible...") So, what do i do wrong or what is still missing ? How can i enable the p2p-fast-connection ? O_o

FunkyFr3sh Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 take a screenshot of the port forwarding rule so we can see if you did it correctly
Vellern Posted August 11, 2013 Author Posted August 11, 2013 Thnx for reply guys ! What video, exactly? Mh, i am searching in the net, but can´t find it again... take a screenshot of the port forwarding rule so we can see if you did it correctly Sorry, i am a complete idiot in such things (which could explain why i dont get it on the run ). From where exactly do you need a shot ?
Nyerguds Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 the configuration web interface of your router, on the page where your port forwards are configured.
Gunbladelad Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 I get the same issue myself, connecting over a 3G dongle. Even when Windows XP insists the ports are opened up, cncnet insists that they're not.
FunkyFr3sh Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 you cannot open ports with 3g. You will need DSL/Cable to be able to play fast peer-to-peer games
Nyerguds Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 umm, isn't 3G direct routerless connection to the internet anyway? You shouldn't NEED port forwards on that...
