Failure to connect in-game

It doesn't matter if it's my game or anothers, once the game starts I get the 25 second connect message and it simply does not connect and I am removed from the game.

My friend is experiencing the same problem, and we don't get what's going on all of a sudden. Nothings changed, and our ports are all open and firewalls are accepting and all that jazz.

Any help here please?

What game is this? Red Alert? What are you using to connect the games? CnCNet 5?

Did it work for you before ? If that is the case then try to reinstall the game to a DIFFERENT folder

 

Its a weird bug, it happened on cncnet4 before too .. but i could never figure out whats up with it ... it seems like there is a bad registry key pointing to the game folder or something

 

if you could never play a working game before then make sure you allowed it in your firewall/anti-virus

We tried it on Tiberian Dawn and RA1 and it worked fine for weeks until the other day.

We both reinstalled the game to a new folder, everything was reset and the same problem happened.

 

I really love the work you guys did to bring this classic into the new era, I want to keep on playing it, dangit!

You should try with some other players, do not try to both join the same games. Maybe its only one of you who cant connect, send me a message when you are online the next time and we will try it out

 

if installing to a different folder didnt help then it must be caused by an anti-virus/firewall .. maybe there was an update for those which broke em
