AchromicWhite
Interesting, you're right, that IS an oil tanker. If I'd known that, I might have tried to base my tanker off of it... Oh well, Kilk has now made a better one anyway -Liam
Kilkakon
What do you guys think? They are meant to be tar pits--surface oil patches.
AchromicWhite
Good idea, guess it makes sense for it to be toxic to inf also... Looks good too. -Liam
Nyerguds
Not bad... but they remind me a lot of the game's scorch marks
Kilkakon
Haha I did them by hand! Can't really be helped though I suppose. It's good enough for the one level they appear in, haha Good news is that bar a cameo which should take me all of 2 minutes this economy is done! Woo! Dancing charmanders in the streets. AchromicWhite
lol... now if you can just make that oil explode when it's shot xD Nah, all good, looks sweet man, can't wait to see your mod finished -Liam
Kilkakon
Haha fortunately that map is quite clever. It's all about the player manipulating an ally to fight for them--they aren't meant to go on the field themselves. But yeah! And thanks mate! This is a copy/paste of my todo list: - maps: COA7, USA (make a new better mission), BRU2, BRU3, BRU4, JAP1, Defiance - interior theatre - cast chris brutal and novak and record sounds - Questionstalk/questionspire icons - questionspire fire sound - chemical warhead explosion and mouse icon - movies - japan stuff - rocket pod - urban civie buildings -- have a few of the temperate ones replace the fields! -- good for cuba mission -- also just go through the maps and double check what's being used -- one or two more civvie buildings I think
Nyerguds
Just curious... how does it look on radar?
Kilkakon
Unfortunately, like regular tiberium (I'm geussing, it's like rows of little green bunches). It doesn't matter with this mission in particular though as the player doesn't have production buildings.
Nyerguds
That's strange. I'm fairly sure it actually resizes tree objects. I wondered about this mainly because I've seen the same odd behaviour in RA, where replacing the ore with tiberium still left it yellow on the radar.
