ALT + TAB -> kills my sound in C&C 95v106b_r1

Hi,

Can any one help me?

When I start the C&C game and push Alt + Tab (to go to the chat or forum) and go back to C&C my game sound is gone. Has anyone a solution for this?

Running on Windows XP (C&C95.exe executing in win95 mode, default settings)

I have a Pentium 4 multi threading, one thread is 100% busy running C&C95.exe. Is this also a known issue?

Hope to get some response, and love to play a game!

Well you can alt tab a few times in and out in and out and see if it helps, or you can go to options then sound and then back again.

C&C always uses full CPU. It's a full screen application, so why would that be a problem? Either you play the game, or you do something else.

what soundcard you use? i think it is some on sound cartige, on some old soud cartige, it can pronunce only 1 sound per time.

this is proberbly because you alt-tab to consistantly.

wait, the SOUND or the MUSIC?

The music thing is normal. Easy fix for this is to open the main menu before tabbing out. The music will restart when you continue playing.
