Won't luanch YR in Win 10

Question

After i click on "CnCNetClientYR.exe" i get a download box where it download all the files for patch 2.30, after that a CMD box appears with a filename of "clientupdt.dat"  but i won't get any further than this.

 

Does anybody seen this issue before?

Hello - sorry to see this. Could you upload your client.log and cncnetclient.log file found in your game directory?

 

Also, try restarting the client.

Could you try running CnCNetYRLauncher.exe as administrator to see if that helps?

Could you also confirm in Resoures > Binaries > that all file names are named as .dll files and not .new?

 

i runned "CnCNetYRLauncher.exe" as administrator with no luck.

 

Also all 8 files in Resources > Binaries have the .dll extension.

We haven't encountered this before. Based on the screenshot it appears to freeze when creating a window. My only guess is that it could be caused by your security software.

 

well my windows firewall is turned off, and i am using windows defender as my security application
