Black Screen on Single Player - Tiberian Sun

win7nowork

Question

When I launch Tiberian Sun in single player mode all I get is a black screen, I can hear audio and see my cursor, but nothing displays. I attempted to launch the game running as administrator and in window mode but neither method worked.

OS: Windows 7

GPU: AMD R9 270x

Any ideas on what could be causing this?

I just downloaded TS hoping to play campaign and I was met with the same issue.  The screen is completely black, except the cursor is visible and the sound works... the menu is clearly there but invisible (can hear sound effects from menu options when moving mouse).

On windows 7 this bug normally shouldn't happen, it is probably caused by broken drivers. Check this here:

You could also try to enable directdrawemulation in the config program, or play around with the other settings
