ISSUE WITH MAIN.EXE ERROR WIN XP

Can  anyone guide me how to fix main.exe error or ra2 encountered a internal problem for windows XP.

I have xwis version of red alert2 + yuri . It works fine beside CNCNET , When i updated cnc net to 2.62 version it created a exe file name gamemdspawn exe which got problems :3 other then that i can join CNCNET lobby also .

Not really our problem if you got the game illegally. RA2 is not freeware.

In that case he should bug them on their forums.

Its not ra2 problem, its something technical i am sure, i played at cncnet 2 weeks ago it was fine, problem comes with version 2.62 before that it was fine.

.NET error, screenshot doesn't give us much. Do you have .NET 4 installed?

 

Also try running this installer (it will reinstall CnCNet).

I  have windows xp  sp2 with me i made new account for ra2, and installed new red alert 2 at desktop and it was not working with that also but i saw a post about data execution prevention and it worked for me (FOR NEW ACCOUNT ONLY).

i tried same for old account it didn't worked.

That's not a normal .net error; they should give a stack trace (unless some paranoid idiot built the exe without debug info, that is).

 

ZAIN: did you install the .Net framework v4?

nope but netframework 2 is installed
