Client crash at launch Win Vista

Hi, I've been trying to get YR running on my old laptop which has Windows Vista.

 

Soon as I open the client I get an error message:

 

Could not find a graphics device that supports the HiDef profile

 

Any idea how to fix this? Thanks.

Upgrade your OS vista isent exactly the best graphics anyway so i am not surprised vista isent exactly the OS you want anymore as it is basically lost support

I'm aware of that, but the game worked fine before with Client 2.0 but now it has stopped working.

Update to SP2 and download directX10.

 

I run this game on vista, but had to update to SP2.

It already has SP2 and directX11

Can you upload client.log after crashing?

If there's any DirectX you need to download, it's 9.0c. No Windows ever shipped with it, so it has to be installed manually.

It'll only extract the needed files to a folder - in that folder, run DXSETUP.exe as administrator.

Try downloading and installing this: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=27598

 

And then run Resources\clientxna.exe instead of directly starting CnCNetYRLauncher.exe.
