It can be the pre-relase of the Mac version.

I've saw similar icons in the pre-relase of the Nintendo 64 version too.

Hey! Nyerguds: you've hacked the Nintendo 64 C&C, did you found those icons there? they always forget garbage on the cartidges. :P

Little bump...

I'm a bit curious. I've downloaded this mod, and I like it. But the known bug: 2: - Icons of buildings, units and infantry are always yellow (C&C95 engine limitation) is bothering me a little.

Why can't the 95 engine handle it, whilst the DOS engine can? I remember playing it in DOS, and NOD units on the sidebar were actually red or white (I don't know which one, but definately one of the two colours).

The C&C95 engine CAN, in fact, handle remapping icons, but the logic is never enabled due to the choice for C&C95 to switch to higher resolution renders of the units rather than the more simple remappable schematic versions.

Some info about making sidebar icons remap to player colour:

the remappable icons stuff still needs a LOT of tweaking though, to use the secondary scheme, and to disable remapping on infantry icons to prevent the yellow/brownish faces from getting remapped..

I've edited the sidebar texture in order to get a better look into the Iran extended sidebar hack, it is in the attachment of this post. move it to the C&C95 folder.

For white fonts, just get an Hex editor and change the bytes at the andress that Iran told.

for Remappable icons: I don't know how to make it work. how can EAX hold a pointer if it is always 0? I'm not an expert in assembly actually.
