  1. Not sure that is a good idea. Other than it would be a nightmare to do. It would also make RA impossable to mod almost when it would come to icons. You may want to try doing what was done in Tib Sun. Both GDI and Nod had there own icon mix file for shared buildings and units.
  2. Iran I can look into the later. I can also sent you the mission as they are. The mission are simple compared to how RA1 mission are made when it comes to RA AI. There is some coding in the misson to slow down the harvest/ore tucks but they still unload way to fast so you can over power the AI. Also coding to get the tech level right since the RA tech level is nothing like C&C 95. Nyerguds The tress are from Tib Sun. If you want them I can sent them to you.

  5. I could try. It may be hard in the later misson as there are not C&C equivalent units in RA.

  7. Copy and paste of the top one worked for me.
  8. Mission 13A SCU13EA.ini One of the most complex maps when it comes to triggers linked to other triggers. Once you destroy all of the Radar Domes triggers "win3" should delete "los3" but it is not in Mission 13A. Thats what it looks like to me. I'll change it and let you know. I've seen the tank stuck like that before were the bridge use to be. If you time one of the Allied 3 mission rignt you can get a Soviet tank stuck like that. As for the Ant. Never seen that. EDIT: A quick test show that programing "win3" to delete "los3" worked. I suggest that your or some one else give it a try to make sure. With complex maps maps RAED can mess up other tiggers. scu13ea.ini.zip
  9. Should, change the desert theater to somthing else and change some of the buildings. The RA Flame Tower is the Adv. Guard Tower and RA Airfield is the Adv Comm Center plus a few others. The units as well.
  10. Desert and Winter theaters are "dormant" do to compatibility issues. At this time there is no way to keep people that don't have the Desert and Winter theaters from joining games that use them. This is why Desert and Winter theaters are not included with Red Alert. I'm working on a new Red Dawn that will include Multiplayer and will use Desert and Winter. It will use it own CnC Net lobby so the compatibility issues that have kept Desert and Winter theaters out of RA won't be an issue. The maps is good. I know how much work it takes to copy a make from C&C to RA. I remade 28 of the C&C95 singleplayer maps for the next Red Dawn. The darn maps are almost a tile for tile copy like this.
  11. A map were no new units and buildings can be made is easy. CS Top o' the World has triggers to do that.
  12. I don't thing destroy attached building with trigger cells will work on large area. You can't incress the radius that the nuke dose damage.
  13. True but the + side of RA is much longer to me that C&C95.
  14. There is no realy way to do a mass kill in RA1. You can attach kill triggers to all of the buildings and units but any building or units you build won't have a kill trigger. The best idea I have it to set the nuke timer like you have than say the nuke trigger is set at 250 set the new tigger (los2) at 253 and once the 253 has past the player loses the game. Hopefully in game it looks like the nuke has gone off right before the player gets Mission Failed.
  15. The Hills Have Eyes uses an AI like singleplayer missions do. Any units you place should be hostile unless you make it Sleep . To do this double click on the unit and select mission anc change it to Sleep. I don't think there is any way to disable crates to keep pre-placed crates.
  16. You place Multiplayer starting positions/waypoints by going to Mode(****) than waypoints. All the way points are listed on the right side 0 to 7 are used as starting positions. No you can't have a MCV coming in a transport in multiplayer. Yes buildings say on multiplayer maps if placed, units too. Only crates are removed from multiplayer maps.
  17. Crate are random on Multiplayer so any crates placed on the map are removed by the game. I'm attaching blank Snow and Temperate (grass) mega maps below. You can open these in Edwin and make mega maps in edwin with them. Just put them into your Red Alert directory. Making Multiplayer maps with RAED If you put the blank mega maps in your Red Alert directory RAED can use them as well for a template. In RAED the Doc tab you can find some basic info. The Mode (******) tab has all the you will need to make a Multiplayer map. Once you click on Mode (******) it will drop down showing Template, Overlay, Smuge, Terrain .etc. Template has the Shores, Rivers, Roads, Ridges and Debris. Overlay has Ore, Gems, Walls, Hay stacks, fields and crates. Smuge has craters and burn marks. Terrain has Mine for spawning ore Tress and Ice. Also Waypoints. For Multiplayer Waypoint 0 to 7 are starting points in Multiplayer. Blank_MegaMaps.zip
  18. What do you want to do? RAED can do basic maps like EDWIN up to full missions. Some more info would help us point you the right way.
  19. Very usefull! I thank you for the hard work you did. With out it I would have never have never started looking into TMP ra format. This would mean no Desert or Winter theaters currently being worked on for RA and already in use in the of development Red Dawn Online and Red Dawn 2013. I only wish to expand on what you started. Full credit is given to you for the original work. The Snow to Desert V2.zip give you credit and link original source over at http://ra.afraid.org/ and read me is also packed into the .mix file.
  20. I had just destroyed a Adv. Power Plant. Maybe it was a survivor from it. I couldn't duplicate the crash as well.
  21. Got my first crash using Iran's RA95.exe. This was My C&C Clasic GDI 12B. It happend once I took out both Adv. Power Plants. The plants have no trigger attached to them so I'm not sure what is going on.... RA1_Crash_MAP_CC_Clasic_GDI12B.zip
  22. OpenRA-release-20121019.exe I will not be downgrating to Vista lite.... I have .NET version 3.5 SP1. Found it in the add/remove programs listed along with 1.1 2.0 SP2 and 3.0 SP2. I'll try it on my Win7 later.
