One day I stumbled upon this picture: And I thought "WOW what a greate picture! Too bad it's too small". And I hoped to find it in a better resolution. And I did! But not quite the way I expected... I found a shitload of bullshots slightly different from one another. I have seen em before, but didn't noticed, that the hud is not the only difference this two, aside from different hud depicts MLRS in a slightly different pose and launching a missile that is not present in the "full" picture. the frame is also a bit larger from the left side this one is probably the real shot these three are identical aside from hud, but the conyard didn't has the explosion photoshopped on top of it. MLRS in the same position, as in the "full" picture. the frame also a bit larger to the right another probably real one Funnilly enough, the minimap is flipped horisontally on two of thouse. the frame is also a bit larger to the bottom and to the left. and thouse power plants photoshopped on top of the tiberium field! taken directly from the upper part of the map So here we are. 9 bullshots out of a single image. whoa, they really knew how to do a marketing job

now this is something new. I tested it, in ra2 you can select every building like this, but in YR only conyards/MCVs in TS you also can T select every building, but MCVs and conyards don't fail in the same category as they do in RA2/YR

hmm, a question arose: can I add duplicating sections in rures.ini? like, if I want to change infantry, but don't want to change existing infantry code, can I just put another infantry identifyer at the end of the file and write down changed values?

actually, this is very possible. for unit progression you can rank it up two times, then just give another unit and repeat. for bying stuff there is lots of options, like constructing buildings or capturing em. you can even use engies like a money having sertain buildings to have more engies to capture or having a wall of buildings, that you can capture only in order. again, buying an ability will replace your unit with a special version of it with that special. there is a lot more that can be done. or, say, buing an outpost will give you airstrike. pretty easy

I did thought about that actually, but no, I meant not commando missions, but a coop maps where you help each other kill tons of enemys, can level up your units and buy special abilities

Is there any? Like crash rpg for starcraft, where you wander around with a single unit. Doesn't matter for what cnc, but ra2 or ts is preffered

AFAIK in original thouse values are actually negative, so you will get weaker armor and slower rate of fire

Just found that if you destroy a church in the TS campaign you will be granted with a crate just like in the original game! that was an amazing moment is there any other non-obvious homages to classic like this one? I know about units & buildings from TD, but they are not really hidden

I wonder what's actually differs yr from ra2 aside from new units, race etc. what can be done in one and can be in the another for example you can have 3 campaigns in RA2, can you do this in a YR? or add unit-specific voices to the ra2? the only things I can obviously tell is that YR has menu/FMV resolution locked at 800x600 wich is a really good thing

I tryed editing INI to add specific mission, but after it was finished, it was shown on the score screen as the first mission and then game contunues like I just completed the first mission

The inis moved to another folder. If you replace them, the game will not load any mission and "unable to read scenario" appears

I don't save often, but now I did and have to load. and the game just crashed. and this happens every time I try to load it. that's sad, because I saved last time not even in a previous mission. I know there was altered battle.ini for original version that let's you play any mission you want, but I don't know how to enable this in the TS client version

BTW, did that fixws apply to TS client version?

soo I have a massive probleme here. I've got a notebook and can't open any http/https/ftp/skype or anything else when I connected to the router in the route mode, but if connected via bridge mode everything works. the problem is not in router since I tryed this on several routers and type of connection, every other device works greate. I tryed both wifi and cable with the same results But. I can ping any site both by ip and by name. I tryed static ip, 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 and router address as default dns, tryed to set router as a default gateway, nothing works. if you have any idea please help. and no, I can't throw it out the window or reinstall windows (btw it has windows 7) EDIT: well, after having a day in searching the solution I finally did it. reseting internet explorer to default do the trick
