Just checked it out. Cant believe you already implemented it, albeit still in test phase but FUNKY AWESOME STUFF yet again.... EDIT: P.S. ye we will have to keep adding maps for the trial, since even speed mods and comp stomps are all flagged And does anyone have 'bbg' map that had the 'silo 50k credits' trigger, give it to Funky so he can compare that to a regular 'bbg' map Also the 'amokk' maps are gud I think, amokk if u can confirm

I really hope that Xwis rules are NOT copy/pasted; literally and in spirit. My seven cents: Since cheat guard is already implemented and other log(sync/stats) files and SS can be directly uploaded to server, so there shud be very few guidelines for cheat reports and the mod can go on case-to-case basis. However punishments shud be harsh especially for players which have been playing long enuff to know all kinds of unfair practices. for game DC; we will take axel1212 as an example...we all know that this dude DCs 99% of the time when he is losing, so I agree with Punker on this that he shudnt be banned as long as his opponent is gettin the points. I think having a specific rule to eachnevery situation will just breed new level of cheaters. -

Yep the last few times we playd when u got in teamspeak...anyways u shud get activity is always decent atleast on the server. I dont think I have playd with zay since we all left xwis

Thank you power <3 ahahhaha...I like visc maps. Jman and kapa dont mine visc maps maybe they can give me some competition on 'em Wuss for QM ok I understand that random opponent and map is good surprise as long as shittty maps are not there, just the basic ones. So for QM it makes sense to have only SUN/FS maps and any EXTRA maps(reg mods, speed mods or any other) could be discussed upon in forums and according to the response by community could be added to the QM map pool. Custom game(like XWIS ladder) should allow any map but obviously has to be fair not like "play mods at your own risk". Even speeds or waterworld style super mods etc..because see it doesnt matter if one person on ladder is bashing newbs on super mods since eventually that person will be gettin WINS but not enough points to maintain a rank. For instance, a player who plays 30 opponents on ladder and wins all the time will be getting more points than say a player whos only playing 4 newbs on one map during the whole month.(this is assuming the ranking algorithm is similar to XWIS).

Fok u guys... The replies here are more infuriating than try to get answer from Olaf about anything. Here it goes: Funkyfresh, this guy Phenomena aka wuss is the one I was talking about, he knows about map triggers etc. Anyways fellas last I talked to funky few weeks ago he was sayin about working or is gonna work on tool similar to what he did for RA1 that checks for map triggers that gave unfair/hidden advantages or cheats if you will. Wuss it be kind of you to send Funky a pm to help him understand about triggers like you used to do for example, when sell silo and u get more cash with modded bbg. The ladder(single or clan) Any map should be allowed as long as no hidden cheats or unfair practices involved. That's why amokk has volunteered in trying to gather all maps remove the fragmentation in maps like we have 3 versions of bbg4. These maps will be/should be categorized sun, fs, speed mods, comp stomp(not for ladder thou), and others etc. Having a map database will protect new maps being replicated/duplicated all over the server, since a new map could either be submitted to the database or server can auto add it to its map database provided it passes as a "fair" map. How is a map with infinite money and complete symmetry unfair? If anything ww maps cud be unfair according to the reasoning given by most in this topic. Why get into a pissin contest about maps allowed on ladder when the server is giving u the choice of choosing ANY map. Now for QM(no intent to pressure devs, merely a suggestion) So IF and WHEN there is a QM i do think for QM a map pool agreed upon by community would be nice with players can ask and make a case for certain(new) maps to be added to the "QM map pool". Although at the same time, the map pool can be avoided by simply having filters. So let's says I wanna QM(purpose of QM IMO is quick game with random opponent) I could filter QM games by for instance map style. I go QM>> filter "visc games">> and launch/join assuming there is someone willing to QM on visc. And whatever the result; default ranked games or QM ranked games, mod or non mods they should all be counted on one ladder. Feels like you guys is arguments are instinctively to divide players into different tranches. I was gonna go on but Mole and Wuss summarized it very well. And Sol that's such a f'ked up thing to say that we wanna give incentive to modders, seriously? Once there is a nice working ladder and plenty of map choices with no unfair cheats etc anyone should be able to play anybody on any map. It's quite simple really. Thanks. Fellas try to stay focused and don't post ideas like cross game QM or any far fetched ideas. Let the ladder come first !! And Sean dude you dont even play ts..,, soft spot for bbg lmao!

It will also start shooting right after being released again." Although you might have issues when the attack unit moves after the carry is given the command to land on it. Whats wrong with this? umm,,,maybe some vocab (Mole40k need u here!!) And @Stefor, this hint/tip^^ is what makes mk so lethal. I used to see ppl using this and m like wtf mk just landed n shot..,htf that hppn! and the part about firing until carry is attached is so imp, can save the mk from dying if done right.

Cant learn everything by playin. When you're spec-ing games see pay attention to build orders, control of units(like in an inf rush or tits with Q etc) and the economy(when they expand and how to). For units help, especially defensive ones see this https://cnctiberiansun.wordpress.com/. It has bunch of guides and essays on ts; will help you understand which units to use against which units and overall role of all units, amongst plenty of other stuff. This will teach you the base stuff that you need to know. Like role of a spot/position on the map, how to power bomb, setting hotkeys(very imp) etc et gl

@energy I have seen Nods the v good ones sing bikes to make disr miss a spot to land, have to be intuitive. To others who dont know, you can place a silo qickly where the disr is about to land, or a comp tower or a laser w/e

Using MRLS as a primary attack, yo gotta use element of surprise. Also RPG n Obselisk owns mrls. And infantry if within range. Good players almost always can counter easily

I want to know is how Oliver Twist did this: His ghost stalker near his building, I send my dizz to land right next to warf. Carry landing with dizz and BAM ghost stalker shoots down the carry, dizz dead. gg

No Ads if you actually go ahead with your idea please. Why the need for cncgamer? all the content, discussions, recordings, leaderboard and statistics etc etc everything can be done/discussed here. I think it will just cause fragmentation of content and data. Possibly as I have heard ...idiotic rivalries on the net, causing people to get hacked etc and who knows might even harm the server here...

X3M and VamPyroX do you guys play ts? Because you sound like RA/RA2 players. Official maps: All units have their timely purpose I think, I have seen players use bikes, devils and even stealth tanks. Bikes are mainly used against gdi for defense, someplayers try to rush with 5/6+ bikes as a surprise. I have seen but rarely stealth tanks also being used as defense. Also STs used as a scout technique. Orca Bombers are powerful but they are NOT fast at all compared to the regular Orcas and Nod Banshees. And in ggs I see bombers used most of the time for defense or killing of defense. And obviously if u have no SAMS or badly placed SAMs bombers do damage(obv player might just go for main buildings if there no sams etc). There is so many things to do, like a player sees his opp going bombers he would try to D up on a moderate/need-basis level and will also send waves of land attacks(Tits +inf) or MK/Carryall attacks to have the other player use his bombs( this is just one scenario for instance). Nods can pop/dive with sub in pressuring the opp to keep his bombers for defense, especial sub with engies etc. What do you mean by 'splash'? JJs(jumpjet inf) are very important , idk what you are talking about. In big maps very helpful with early scouts. They can be used to engage map units(like fiends). In terrace 2v2 sometimes it become really hard to scout for w/e reason people will send JJ to open up the opponent. It can be even made to just to F*** with the opponents head, opp might give in to early defense even when there is no imminent attack. And dont talk about cost etc...Because money/economy is a very important part of TS so if someone is going for tech and just powerful air units, is not a good idea especially if the opponent might do a variety of attacks, the player might just end up using his 'expensive' and 'powerful' air units for defense. Lets say if a Nod player is thinking I need to get bans fast so he can defense against early GDI disruptor attack and eventually have 10 of them to KO the opponent. Decent opp will either try to get the Nod players pads or even just send mass titans to make him use his bans that hes been stacking. Every game can be very diff in TS, have to go with the flo. Its hard to reach that level but we see good players very often doing crazy shit. And air units are not, that 'fast'. They obv have to be faster than all ground and subterrean units so in that way its normal. And on other note, you cant compare bans to bombers at all. It takes 10 banshees to kill an MCV, but it takes around 15+ to kill a defensive structure or powerplant or barracks. Just ONE Orcabomber can kill a defensive or a smaller structures(pp, barracks, sams, pads).Bans can target units more accurately, as for the more powerful orca bomber, it can do damage more efficiently only if enemy units are stacked(hence, bombers). And imho SAMS are very powerful in TS. (These are just simple examples that I have done/experienced, try watching some TS game recordings, might discover something more) Cheers!

Cool, looks like it should be very soon. Like the 'leaderboard' interface. @Iran; What happens when someone loads their cheats, and goes in game. - Can they join a game? - Will they load? - Does the server know if that persons cheating(or tried to)? - Or the cheats simply dont work?
