    They use speed hacking to speed or slow their game and if they speed their game up their client will think you d/c and they will report win to server before your game even ends.

I agree with this 100% I think though that to help prevent people from making new logins on the forums and using them to help their friends get 'free points', that it would also be very beneficial to award MORE points for beating a higher ranked player and LESS points for beating a lower ranked player, to SOME extent. Maybe 3 points for beating top 5 players 2 points for beating top 15 players 3 points for beating anyone lower?
  4. In TS you can place LAT tile under the cliffs and be able to build there. Here is Terraces, with only LAT tile (coloring) added to TL, so TL can expand over cliff without 'toggling': terraces2.zip
  5. I think giving more/less points based on the rating of the player you just beat, would be enough to prevent people 'dodging'. If for example the #1 rank avoids #2 and #3, the points could be setup to make it harder for #1 to remain at top (but differences in maps would have to be taken into account, like a WW map player won't be playing a mod map player just because they are similar rank. this is why i think there should be one ladder for WW maps and a separate one for mod maps)
  6. we often kick new players to have a fair game, not to be rude. sometimes it is a bit too tedious to be nice and explain to every single new player why you are kicking. nothing wrong with newbs learning, but when 3 pro in a game whoever has the newb gets wrecked beyond measure hehe
  7. I added "1B*" to the list. I put it there due to importance, but didn't want to mess up the numbering and make the previous post null. Myself and many others routinely alt barracks to scout (I do it every single game) and are routinely GDI, so the JJ Barracks glitch happens a lot depending on style of game play. Bottom left on Terraces or Top Left / Top Middle on Forest Fires are good examples of needing to Alt Barracks (vs. top players). #5 happens a lot depending who you play
  8. 1. Select Aircraft. Tell Aircraft to land under Carryall that is trying to land. Even if your Aircraft is all the way cross the map, it will prevent the Caryall from landing. This should only be possible with a directly nearby land unit or building. 1B*. Build a Helipad. Build two aircraft. The first will spawn on the Helipad and the second will likely spawn off the map and fly home to the Helipad, but if you keep your Helipad full and keep making more Aircraft, some are bound to get stuck off the edge of the map. This happens regardless of map or location on map and regardless of cliffs / landscaping at edge of map. 2. Send damaged MKII or Disruptor* to Service Depot. Hit the 'S' key, or tell the MKII to attack a nearby enemy unit. The MKII will explode. 3. Select your GDI Barracks and hold the 'Alt' button down. Repeatedly click to make light infantry, and constantly change the Alt location for the Barracks. Make a Radar and a Jump Jet. +50% of the time, the JumpJet will not come out of the Barracks. 4. Select Aircraft on a Helipad that has no Ammo. Tell it to attack something. It will remain on the Helipad, but will never charge. Sometimes this causes multiple Aircraft to be on the same pad, and several at a time not to charge. 5. Fill a Harvester with Blue Tiberium. Send it to enemy Refinery in multi-player game. Ally them and quickly Alt your Harvester into their Refinery. Just before it dumps the Tiberium into their refinery, declare war on them. The Harvester will glitch and blow up, thus blowing up the Refinery with it. 6. Select Helipad and Alt it to shroud. Next spawned aircraft will go into the shroud and cheat-scout. Aircraft is not supposed to go into shroud, but this glitch allows some to scout without effort. In coding it says "1) MoveToShroud=no", but we still have this glitch. 7. When a Viscroid is roaming around in Tiberium, and your Harvesters run across it a certain way, the Harvester will blow up. 8 A certain glitch can cause your light infantry to be able to 'hijack' enemy vehicles. This should only be possible with a NOD Hijacker. I don't believe anyone else knows how to duplicate this, so if someone is willing to patch it please ask me to show them how. 9. Blue and Green text are extremely hard to read while in game-chat. 10. When tanks are walking across a bridge, and get emped, there is a glitch where the emp does not work on the units on the bridge. It makes sense that units in a tunnel cannot be emped, but units on a bridge should be able to be emped! 11. When MK is on a bridge, your Caryall cannot pick it up.
  9. Also: When helipads are full and building new aircraft, the aircraft spawns off the map, and about 10% of the time or more gets stuck off map. You can also attack units by edge of map and aircraft sometimes gets stuck off map. If the aircraft are numbered you can select the team number and hit 'S' key, then click units back to map.
  10. In this save game I have made it easy to duplicate two glitches: 1. Send Mammoth MK II onto Service Depot to repair. While it is walking on the Depot keep the MK selected and hit the 'S' key. It will walk onto the Depot and blow up. 2. Select the bombers and number them for easy selection (Ctrl + 1). Click the Carryall/Disruptor and move it to an area across the map. Quickly select the two bombers, and tell them to land right under the area where the Carryall/Disruptor are trying to land. Repeatidly click the bombers under the shadow of the Carryall/Disruptor and as long as you are fast enough, the Disruptor cannot ever land. It is good for someone to be able to place a building or move an infantry/unit under a landing Carryall and takes skill to pull off in an actual game, but 99.99% of players in the Tib Sun community have since the game came out agreed that using an air unit to do so is a glitch.   20. -While in game, blue and green text messages are very hard to read. This can be hard when your mate is one of these colors and you cannot read their warns.

  22. Hey bud, nice to see you posting here! I have only been back to ts for about 3 months now, and have seen a lot of players come and go, but for the most part activity seems around the same as when I first came back. Myself and a few others were highly considering hosting a 500$ (split among top 3 teams) 2v2 prize tourny, but I believe I was the main contributor to this, and unless we can get some patching done for game-play I'm not willing to put my portion up. I really, really love what you guys have done with TS, it is surely far, far better than it ever has been, but I really, really wish I could get in touch with someone (iran is impossible for me to get in touch with) that is capable of implementing in-game patches. Myself and others are even willing to donate for this. With that said, I think said tourney would bring tons to TS, especially pro ra2 and sc2 players that play TS off / on and even more so old leet players would have more reason to come back!
  23. More glitches: -When an empty plane is on a pad, and you tell that plane to attack something, it will stay on the pad, but will never charge, until lifting and putting back on pad. -Sometimes more than one plane goes back to same pad, and only one of them charges. I think this is related to the issue above though. (Sometimes neither of them charge, so this makes sense)
