eband Posted February 24 Posted February 24 Back in the day, I bought my own CD-ROM copies of Command and Conquer Tiberian, Red Alert 2, and Yuri's Revenge. Instead of using the clients available for download, can I use my copies to play on the CnCNet servers? First time poster.
Tore Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Playing on CnCNet requires using the CnCNet clients. If you manage to install the game on a modern OS from CD's which depending on the game is difficult as the SafeDisc DRM these games use from CD isn't supported anymore. After you get RA2 and YR installed you simply install CnCNet over it. For TS you have to 2 options. 1. Funky's client which most TS players use at the moment can be installed over an existing TS install with TSPatch: https://downloads.cncnet.org/TSpatch.exe 2. TS-client which is entirely standalone and doesn't supporting existing TS installs: https://downloads.cncnet.org/Games/TiberianSun/ts-client-test4.exe
