Tore
CnCNet has for the past week been in communication with PlayCNC an ambitious project to unify the online experience for Command & Conquer games. CnCNet and PlayCNC has decided that CnCNet technology and services will be the systems powering the online functions for Command & Conquer (Tiberian Dawn) and Red Alert. This means that the people behind PlayCNC can focus on features like ladder integration for the time being. This does not mean that CnCNet and PlayCNC will be merging into one project. The two teams feel that they are not ready to go to such measures. For users this basically means that CnCNet will be running the C&C1 and RA side of things and accounts between CnCNet and PlayCNC will be unified.
