Nyerguds
You could've started with a small intro saying WTF it is about. You don't even say it's about Renegade...
Zjorz
Reasons why this news post fails: 1: you haven't explained why people should play this mod. 2: no screenshots to interest potential new players 3: a lot of how to install crap people can read on the game site 4: Listing addons people can download. They can look this up at the game site. 5: Way to many download links 6: it makes instalation look complicated. A great way to scare off newcomers Better luck new time
FunkyFr3sh
Is that even legal if you can get the whole game for free?
zunnie
It's not the whole game, it is only the standalone files we created. Its a indie like any other.
FunkyFr3sh
oh, i thought its like a mod for Renegade which just adds/modifies some of the original files might give it a try then
zunnie
Most of westwoods stuff like maps and stuff were removed from it and replaced with new stuff as described on the gameinfo page. Also a ton of custom coding on the serverside was done to make it work. You can only play the Imperial Age (NewMaps 4.1) server with it.

Nyerguds
Reasons why this news post fails: Dude, that was pretty uncalled for. All I said was that it was missing any and all kind of introduction. Had that been there, the links would've been enough, but N3t, it's generally considered polite if such a post gives you at least some info before you need to click any links
N3tRunn3r
Yes Nyer, thanks ^^ After I had read your 1st post here, so I added some info before those 2 links.
