KickStarter

No... it's to help support the launching of new commercial projects. CnCNet is neither new nor commercial. What can we offer people who pledge money? A year of free C&C online?

Not to mention, the money would be to allow the development of the project. But guess what... getting money from a kickstarter doesn't give any of us more free time off from our day jobs to work on that. Employment contracts don't work like that. And I don't think any of us will actually quit our job for this.

There is a paypal donation button on the cncnet site. If people want to help out financially, they should donate to that; it's used to finance the servers.
