Brockness Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 When I auto detect to stretch to full screen, the game comes up with a distorted diagonal display, and when I use 1024 768 it is not full screen. Anyone know how I can get full screen display to work well? Thanks!
0 FunkyFr3sh Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 Make sure you never use 1366×768 resolution, try custom res 1280x720
0 TaxOwlbear Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 C&C1 runs best in 1280x1024. RA1 runs fine in 1366×768 for me. All games past that run fine in an resolution, or at least fine up to 1080p (and you probably don't need to run them in 4K).
0 FunkyFr3sh Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 Which game? Red Alert (PortableRA) ... RA1 runs fine in 1366×768 ...). I don't think so The config program will switch your res to 1280x720 if you try to use 1366×768 (except the one from portableRA)

When I record RA1 footage with Bandicam, the footages comes out in 1360x768 (slight divergence from 1366×768). I don't think Bandicam would give me that ratio if it wasn't actually what the game runs at.
0 FunkyFr3sh Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 pretty weird that ends up with 1360x768, maybe that somehow fixes it. I know that 768 height is working cause of 1024x768, so it is probably the 1366 that causes the problems. You should try 1366x768 in window mode, maybe it doesnt change to 1360 then
