  1. Welcome to the forums. There is no official translation into traditional Chinese for any Red Alert game as far as I know. They were never published in China. However, RA2 and RA3 are highly popular there (as you will likely know), so it is possible that someone made a fan translation at one point.
  2. No, the world map transition only freezes with this mod. I'll give using the old files a go.
  3. The mod looks very interesting, but the world map regularly freezes for me. The entire application does, in fact. It does recover when the animation is over, however.
  4. Looks great, but why not bundle this with the full game, considering that RA1 is freeware anyway?
  5. You are the one who wants to sell some modded RA1 files here. If you have evidence that this is genuine, show it. Don't expect someone else to email random former Westwood staff and ask them about leaks.
  6. I checked the website (Siberian Studio), but I couldn't find any download for the beta. The screenshots are probably doctored.
  7. There's nothing surprising about this. The PSX wasn't a particularly powerful device even back in the day.
  8. There's a a mod called Red Alert 3 Reloaded that enables the Shogun Executioner as a buildable unit. You may want to check that one out.
  9. I played through the campaign recently. The quality is generally good, and I like the vast selection of units, but the mod seems to suffer from a common issue: Many units don't fill a niche, or fill a niche that's already occupied.
  10. Can I switch it to a dark theme somewhere?
  11. Welcome to the forums. To be honest, I don't think that this is worth the hassle. It's a lot of work, and there's no guarantee that the new engine would be future proof. RA2 runs fine up until Windows 7, and even getting it to run under 10 isn't that much work. Lastly, a project like this already exists: Some of the OpenRA people are working on RA2 in OpenRA.
  12. Whatever the "solution" is, a thread that boils down to "How can we stop people from having fun in a way that I don't approve of?" isn't going to help. Encourage players who like unlimited money turtle maps to try something new? Sure. Starting by telling them how they are having the wrong kind of fun? No.
  13. Which is also why it's rubbish.
  14. If you don't like this thread, I recommend that you don't participate in it.
  15. Well done. I haven't noticed this with the TFD version. Can you reproduce this in other versions of the game?
  16. Exercise and a change in diet. Don't set yourself on a starvation diet; that's just going to make you unhappy and is likely to cause you to regain weight later. If you can afford it, go to the gym. Ask the employees there what kind of machines/exercises are suitable for someone with your physique.
  17. 200 units? What kind of match even lasts long enough to build that kind of army?
  18. I'm okay with the Mammoth Tank mission. AND DO NOT TALK ABOUT THE ORCA MISSION! Anyway, here's the last GDI mission in all its glory (cut by about half an hour): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FTq_o54dXjg
  19. Feel free to use whatever footage you need. I can also provide with the original rendered videos, but those are probably a bit large. Ripping footage from Youtube is probably faster. Also, congrats to you for finishing the mod! Mostly, that is.
  20. It took me longer than the final Nod mission, but that was probably because the Nod nuke can essentially dismantle one of the two GDI bases by itself. The initial segment was also more intense, but the reward was rampaging over the map with Mammoth Tanks, which is always fun. Overall, I think this is the better mission. However, it also the one that's easier to replicate, since the Generals AI hates rivers it can't cross, and the sequence with the Chinook can't really be replicated.
  21. Alright. I'll take my first playthrough with the ending added for now, cut down to about an hour (from about 1.30 hours). It will probably be up by Tuesday.
