How to remove shroud/fog of war in RA1 skirmish ?

I remember that way back there was a way to remove the shroud so all of the map would be visible upon starting a skirmish game. I'll do some further digging and see what I find. In RA2 this is no issue and is easily removable, as is the case with Zero Hour as well, so there must be an option in RA1 rules.ini

As Nyerguds said. Has to be done my map trigger for RA1.

RAED:

Name:      MAP

Owner:    Multi1

Existence: temporary (any linked event -> switch, destroy)

Type:      simple (event1 => action1 [+ action2])

Event 1:  Elapsed Time (1/10th min)... 0

Action 1:  Reveal all map

Code to put into map. Open map with Notepad/wordpad:

[Trigs]

MAP=0,12,0,0,13,-1,0,0,-1,0,16,-1,-1,-1,0,-1,-1,-1

Check @Allen262 's post

Just select a map you like to play, right click the map preview to open the editor and then you have 2 options.

1. Click on the "T" icon in the top right and add what allen suggested at the bottom

[Trigs]
MAP=0,12,0,0,13,-1,0,0,-1,0,16,-1,-1,-1,0,-1,-1,-1

Now you should also rename the map, append (REVEALED) or something similar to the map name to ensure you'll find it again.

Save the map.

Restart cncnet and search for the keyword you added (REVEALED)

2. Add a trigger manually (check allens post), this is a bit more complicated but you'll need to do it in case the map already has trigs
