W10, i7 help

Hi,

 

Got a brand-new i7 running Windows 10 and thought I'd give TS a go. Problem is, it doesn't work! I had a single game in a very weird resolution, then after that I've had several different errors:

 

• One that when a host of an 8 player game loads it I get 'can't access spawn.ini'.
   
  And now whatever settings I choose for resolution or rendering I get an internal error immediately.

Any idea on what the default settings should be for me?

Try to run the installer again, but this time you do Right Click -> run as admin

 

the installer will use different settings when you run it as admin. Alt+Tab and window mode will not be working with the admin settings, but fullscreen it runs very well
